MSNBC’s McCaskill Weeps Over GOP Appropriations Committee Hearing

on MSNBC Deadline: White House, MSNBC contributor and failed senator Claire McCaskill went berserk Thursday on the House Republican subcommittee’s first hearing on arming the federal government. Although he has not articulated any coherent argument other than throwing out ad hominem attacks, perhaps McCaskill is worried about what the committee might find out.

McCaskill began by personally attacking two of the committee’s witnesses: Senators Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson.

“If it’s about creating a compelling TV show for the American people, Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson are not the kind of TV you want to watch,” McCaskill huffs. “I just managed to point it out at the top. If that’s your lead, if you’re taking it as your first game, you’re in big trouble.”

The bitter white liberal mom then went on a meltdown about how the FBI and James Comey valued Hillary Clinton in the 2016 election: “I’m not saying the DOJ has never made a mistake, I think Comey made a big mistake when he, out of all protocol, attacked the presidential campaign. A press hit on Hillary Clinton at the 11th hour,” he cried.

“And guess what? He’s lost. And a very—a big case can be made that he lost the presidency because of what the FBI chief decided to do. Which turned out to be an empty burger.”

In an unspecified passage later, McCaskill became more vague and lashed out at other Thursday committee witnesses: “I think the irony will be obvious to everyone except that tough little bubble, who thinks Jonathan Turley is a real lawyer, who thinks Tulsi Gabbard is an independent. Player,” he cried.

“I mean, look, I mean, these three politicians are Putin apologists. I mean, Tulsi Gabbard loves Putin,” McCaskill falsely claimed.

If McCaskill melts down like this after the committee’s first opening hearing, imagine how unhinged Biden will become when the tyrannical behavior of the DOJ and FBI is exposed. MSNBC’s janitors should throw Claire off the roof.

CLAIRE McCASKILL: Yeah, first, let me just say, if it’s about making a compelling TV show for the American people, Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson is not TV you want to watch. I just have that out at the top. If it’s your lead, if you’re taking it as your first play, you’re in big trouble. And of course, the interesting thing is, if you compare the two committees, you had one that was full of Trump appointees and Republicans as witnesses.

Here, you have a couple of senators who are, you know, politicians who don’t even ask questions. So, as I said on my Twitter feed today, come for the clown show, Grassley and Johnson and Gabbard, and stand up for the truth, Jamie Raskin. And I think, as the congressman pointed out, the strength of this committee is the ability of Democrats to speak the truth.

And one fact that hasn’t been mentioned today, that I’ve seen is — I’m not saying the DOJ has never made a mistake, I think Comey made a big mistake when he, out of all protocol, did a press hit on Hillary Clinton on the 11th of a presidential campaign. th hour. And guess what? She is lost. And a lot – a big case can be made that the FBI chief lost the presidency because of what he decided to do. Which turned out to be a zero burger.

MCCASKILL: Listen, weaponization of the government is an ironic title for this committee and I think the irony will be obvious to everyone except that tough little bubble, who thinks Jonathan Turley is a real lawyer, who thinks Tulsi Gabbard is an independent player, I mean, Look, I mean, all three of those politicians are Putin apologists.

I mean, Tulsi Gabbard loves Putin. So, the idea that the people that America should follow, I think, will be exposed in the coming weeks if they continue down this path. It was a very bad idea, and the people they have on this committee are the fringes, and anyway, you can’t—

I’ve got news for the Republicans. You are now the leader in the House of Representatives, the people put you there. You cannot be a leader and a victim at the same time. I preached it to all the people in my adult life. You have to choose what to do. Are you a victim or a leader? It is clear that they are most comfortable trying to pretend to be the victim.
